I would like to share, with you, the expressions of some of the faces of the many people I have met, from 1993 - 1994, in various pioneer villages of eastern Canada and north eastern USA.
The first interpreters I met was at Black Creek Pioneer Village in Toronto, Canada.
Their stories, enthusiasm, the way they interpreted their role but most of all their friendliness had me hooked. So I thought....what a wonderful opportunity to photograph them. All I had to do was to be patient and wait for the right moment to present itself. The rest can be seen from the photographs.
I have also included, in the gallery, some interpreters who narrated battle reenactments that took place in many of the pioneer villages that I visited.
