Reflection
What draws me to the Southwest is the physical presence of the land itself.
Geology, erosion, scale, and long stretches of silence dominate the experience.
Rock formations, deserts, and built structures coexist in a way that makes time feel extended rather than measured.
When I began this gallery, my intention was to continue photographing specific places across the region. Over time, the work evolved into a more focused exploration, leading to a series of photo books where image sequences could be shaped more deliberately. This gallery remains open in structure, even if its future direction remains uncertain.
Photo Books
This body of work has also taken the form of three photo books:
Arizona Underfoot
The Desert’s Many Faces
Oracle State Park
Each book presents a carefully sequenced interpretation drawn from this body of work, distinct from the gallery’s open-ended structure.
