AutoWreck – AutoNew explores composition, colour, and detail.

I had noticed rows of new cars for some time, but one day I stopped and really looked at their headlights. In that small area, I found an unexpected density of lines, reflections, and forms. That moment sparked this project.

To extend the idea, I also photographed at an auto wreck. Placing new and discarded cars side by side strengthened the visual tension within the series.

Because photography reflects my feelings, the original colours did not fully express what I experienced. I altered them until the images aligned with what I felt.
